The 44-year-old actor’s most embarrassing setback in life is never having learned how to negotiate deep waters, but insists he’s not scared to get his feet wet as long as his toes can reach the bottom.

Speaking on the Late Show with David Letterman in the US, Will said: “I can’t swim. In inner City Philadelphia [where he grew up], there’s not a lot of swimming pools and I never actually learnt how to swim and I’m embarrassed about it.

“I’m not scared [of the water]. I get in the water but as long as my feet can touch the bottom, I’m good because I go in, jump up and get some air.”

The ‘Men in Black 3′ actor – who has son, Jaden, 14, and daughter Willow, 12, with wife Jada Pinkett Smith – claims he always ends up red-faced when he watches his kids in the pool, but insists being able to swim isn’t a necessity of life.

He explained: “They [Jaden and Willow] can swim because it was important to their mother that they learnt how to swim but you can get through life without that.”

During a recent Twitter chat with fans, the “Party in the U.S.A.” songstress was asked if she would make out with her “Diamonds” counterpart.

The 20-year-old Nashville native answered in the affirmative, with “”The answer is definitely,” which led reporters to ask RiRi for her reaction.

Though rumours of their arrival on The X-Factor have been circulating for days, it has been officially confirmed that Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio will join the US series.

The former “Destiny’s Child” member appeared as a judge on the British version of the hit show back in 2011, while the “Boys Will Be Boys” singer coached on Mexico’s version of “The Voice” last year.

Joining the new members on the judging panel are Simon Cowell, the show’s creator, and “Give Your Heart a Break” songstress Demi Lovato.

In a statement, Cowell said, “It’s taken more than a decade, but I’m delighted to finally be on a panel with three girls (I think!).”

He continued with, “Paulina and Kelly both have great taste and massive experience in the music industry and together with Demi, this is going to be a fun panel. It just feels like the time to do something different.”

Recently, Cooper sat down with reporters to reflect on the three films and the close of another chapter in his acting journey.

He said, in part, “You know, like life, there’s a beginning, middle and end — and the end is sad but it’s also, I don’t know, there’s just a lot of gratitude, I’d say. So, because of that, because it was never thought of as a trilogy, all of this is just bonus. Do you know what I mean? And when you know it’s all bonus, it’s harder to sort of feel upset about it.”

Khloe and Kim Kardashian seen to have that sisterhood thing down pat. Khloe, who apparently was getting fed up with hearing all the bad press and mean headlines about her sister’s pregnancy weight gain, decided to put her two cents in by crafting a very sweet letter, which was then posted on Kim’s blog.

“I find it disturbing that society loves to critique a woman’s shape no matter how beautiful or happy she may be within herself,” Khloe wrote. “I am a first hand victim to public attacking in regards to my body or appearance. That is low in and of it self. but I can not tolerate one more vicious attack on my sister! For anyone to ever criticize a woman who is growing another life inside of her is true scum in my eyes. I want this to be the most memorable and beautiful time in your life.”

Khloe then continued, “It breaks my heart when I see you sad because of the vicious attacks on your growing, pregnant body… Bible kimmie you are perfect the way you are! This is your life! Your body! Your baby! I wish you could see how you have this pregnant glow and you sparkle everyday! Your belly is fantastic! Kim! You are growing a miracle inside of you! I love you! And I will do anything in my power to protect you!”
It’s refreshing to see sisters stick up for one another and be there when they need a shoulder to cry on. Luckily, Kim hasn’t let all the name calling and rumor get to her. “I commend you for not putting your head down and going into hiding like so many would,” Khloe added.

True, throughout her pregnancy, Kim’s been spotted wearing tight-fitting dresses, high-heels, and basically whatever she wants. If you have a problem with it, that’s just too bad.

British boy band One Direction made a ballsy move recently when they covered a Backstreet Boys hit.

Luckily for 1D, it appears their rendition of ‘I Want It That Way’ during a concert in Sweden got the tick of approval from BSB!

In fact, Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough said he and his band saw the cover as a new boy band paying homage to an old one.

“I think they did a good job on it,”Dorough told MTV.

“It’s nice to see groups like that pay homage to us. We definitely paid homage to groups in the earlier days that we admired like Boyz II Men, Colour Me Badd, Shai, New Edition.”

Favourite place to go to for a swim? Freshwater Beach… hands down!

Favourite song of the moment: Too many to choose from… but I am loving “About today” from the Warrior soundtrack! Beautiful song.

Do you ever practice something infront of the mirror? Not really… just my tap dancing, bag-pipes, gangsta rap and silly faces.

My Dad owns a restaurant in Chipping Norton called ‘Enzos Cucina’ :-) that would have to be my favourite place :-p

Max Brenner all the way! Waffles and ice-cream! Yum!!!

My fridge! haha I’m always in the fridge looking for something to snack on.

Favourite lolly?
I’m more of a chocolate lover to be honest but I’d have to say Chicos .. Chocolate flavoured lollies so does that even count?

There are two places! A place called ‘Name this Bar’ In Oxford St and a place called ‘The Backroom’ In the Cross. They both have really cool vibes to them and GREAT music! Live bands, It’s really cool!

I love Newtown because it has cool shops and nice cafe’s or Coogee and Bondi in summer definitely!

I LOVE the ‘Marquee’ ..That place absolutely goes off! There is also ‘The Club’ , ‘Piano Room’ or ‘The Bank’ ohhh and so many more :))

My favourite ‘Alone Time’ Place would have to be the park across the road from where I live, my Bedroom or my Recoding Studio!

Plans for Summer?
Hopefully head to Byron Bay for a bit! I’ve only been there for three days at the beginning of this year. I went to see 360 in concert and I fell in love with the place!

The vibe there is just out of this world! The people are amazing and so individual… The afternoons by the beach are my favourite because everybody is playing music and dancing, It’s just a really nice place.

Thanks to our friends at Nova 969, Hollywood Treatment were among the lucky 20-or-so fans to won a spot to Nova’s super exclusive Red Room session with the boys of The Wanted last week.

Even though the boys were one member down (Nathan was absent due to his surgery), Max, Tom, Jay and Siva were in full force busting out some of their chart-topping hits including “Glad You Came”, “Walks Like Rihanna” and “All Time Low”.

Okay to say The Wanted boys are nice is one thing but sticking around to make sure everyone got a photo with them is another.

Well done boys and thanks again Nova.

The band have been filming a TV show in the US for E! titled, ‘The Wanted Life’, the show will air in the US on June 2nd with UK, (Australian transmission dates to be confirmed shortly). They have also been in the studio working on their forthcoming album which will be released globally later this year.

Shenae Grimes is married after exchanging vows with her model fiance Josh Beech.

The 90210 star wed the British hunk in a countryside Tudor estate just outside of London on Friday, reports UsMagazine.com.

Grimes announced the news to fans in a post on Twitter.com, which read, “I now pronounce us Mr. and Mrs. Beech! Ahhh! Xx”.

The 23 year old also uploaded a photo of the newlyweds, in which Grimes is featured wearing a black gown and holding a bouquet of red flowers as she shares a kiss with the groom.

The couple began dating last year and became engaged in December.

Ladies, cancel all dates for Sunday, June 9.

That’s when Brad Pitt will walk the red carpet at the Australian premiere of his film World War Z.

Pitt is set to attend the event in Sydney with director Marc Forster and producer Dede Gardner.

A post-apocalyptic zombie movie, World War Z stars Pitt as United Nations employee Gerry Lane, who’s thrown into a race against time to stop a pandemic that’s toppling armies and governments and threatening the very future of humanity.

 World War Z releases in Australian cinemas on June 20.

It looked like a night of glitz and glamour but Gwyneth Paltrow says she didn’t have fun at the Met Ball.

In fact, the 40-year-old said this week’s event will be the last time she ever attends the annual Costume Institute Gala at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.

“I’m never going again. It was so un-fun,” Gwyneth told USA Today.

“It was boiling. It was too crowded. I did not enjoy it at all.”

Is Gwyneth just feeling sour after her outfit was panned by fashion critics? Or is she giving us a realistic insight into Hollywood?

3. The lifestyles of the rich and richer - Gatsby’s nouveau riche West Egg mansion rivals anything in the Disney fairy tale canon and Daisy and Tom Buchanan’s isn’t far behind. The grandeur is awe-inspiring and Gatsby’s parties live up to their billing and then some (but we’ll get to that). His circular swimming pool is gorgeous and the gardens of the Long Island homes are perfectly manicured. Luhrmann gives us a bird’s eye view of the Buchanan’s digs, soaring above the manicured landscape and following Tom (Joel Edgerton) on horseback as he rocks a polo ball the length of the yard. The automobiles (not cars) are just as impressive. Gatsby’s custom yellow Duesenberg is a luxury locomotive, a roaring symbol of immense wealth. With a budget estimated between $100 and $127 million, Luhrmann got his money’s worth.

4. The parties - Luhrmann models the look of the Gatsby extravaganzas after the famous clubs of the ’20s like The Cocoanut Grove. Crowds thunder down the hallways of Gatsby’s mansion awaiting entrance to the grand ballroom. Inflatable animals float in the glistening pool as mobsters, celebrities, and politicians mingle together. A relative of Beethoven wales away on a giant Wurlitzer while models swing above the dancing crowd on flower-decked trapezes. Luhrmann’s vision of Gatsby’s parties are so awash with detail it’s easy to forgive him for including Jay-Z tracks, a distracting nuisance to the old-fashioned magnificence of the fiestas. Most impressive is the sheer volume of people in the party scenes. Luhrmann paints an extravagant portrait that is altogether garish, over-the-top, and brilliant.

5. The Great Gatsby - We know about his money, clothes, and possessions but what’s beneath the diamond encrusted facade of Jay Gatsby? Well, he’s much different than you might expect. Leonardo DiCaprio brings a surprising humanity to the character which is at times endearing, off-putting, and intensely awkward. It’s a complicated performance that’s sure to be the talk of critics. Luhrmann introduces Gatsby gloriously, serenading him with Gershwin while fireworks explode in the distance. DiCaprio turns and smiles at Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire) and Fitzgerald’s words lend the gravity of the moment in voice over. “(Gatsby’s smile) understood you just so far as you wanted to be understood, believed in you as you would like to believe in yourself.” DiCaprio embodies Gatsby’s otherworldly allure. But his depiction is a stark contrast to Robert Redford’s in the 1974 adaptation. DiCaprio’s Gatsby is childlike in many ways, from his reckless driving to his blatant insecurities apparent in his pursuit of Daisy. He’s the most compelling character in the film.
