Brenton Thwaites opens up about staring in the upcoming Pirates Of The Caribbean film and how it changed his life.
“This movie, in part, led to the creation of my daughter (Birdie),” Brenton told Sydney Confidential.
“We had a huge break in between shooting. That’s when I moved out of my house, into a rental house, which is where I met my girlfriend (Chloe Pacey).
“We haven’t stopped living together since and a year later we had our daughter.”
The former Home and Away actor is now based in Los Angeles and loving life with his young family. “Being a dad is fantastic,” he said.
Pirates is his latest big film role following his appearances in Hollywood films Maleficent and Gods Of Egypt.
He’s hoping the juggernaut franchise, which hits cinemas on May 25, will open even more doors for him internationally. “The movies I’ve been in before, I’ve been proud of, but for better of worse they’ve hit or missed … this one feels like a re-entrance into Hollywood, which is exciting.”
