This years LOGIES saw lace as a staple and popular choice of the evening in Melbourne.
The Project’s Waleed Aly was the big winner at a 2016 Logie Awards, in which every network won a prize.
He said he was humbled by his reception at the ceremony.
“There’s been a real tone of appreciation for what the show does and by extension what I do as well,” he said. “I guess we’ve just got a show that has a way of finding itself in people’s feelings and that’s a handy place to be when you’re at the Logies, right?”
Jessica Marais won her third Logie, a Silver as outstanding actress for Nine’s Love Child.
Seven’s Home and Away won its fifth Logie as best (or most popular) drama and Ten’s Big Bash League was a surprise winner of the industry-voted most outstanding sports coverage prize.
2016 Logies Best Looks:
