Singer/actress Selena Gomez is teaming up with Kevin Spacey to executive produce an autobiographical TV show.
The untitled project is in the early stages of development and Selena and Kevin are reportedly searching for a screenwriter.
According to Deadline.com, the show will be inspired by Selena’s rise through the eyes of her friends.
Her mother, Mandy Teefey, has also landed a producer credit.
Selena has been padding up her resume as a TV producer of late with several projects lined up, including a show about a young woman living in a low-income Latino neighbourhood, working to realise her dreams.
The 23-year-old is also bringing a TV adaptation of Jay Asher’s 2007 novel 13 Reasons Why to streaming service Netflix.
