Chris Hemsworth has revealed his transformation for ‘In the Heart of the Sea’
The 32-year-old former ‘Home and Away’ actor has shown off his unrecognisable transformation for his latest role in In the Heart of the Sea.
Chris leads the film adaptation of the story as the Essex’s First Mate.
His latest Twitter picture shows just how much training and dieting went in to achieve the look for the movie.
Sporting extreme facial hair and a muddy torso, Chris’ iconic bulging abs is nowhere to be seen.
“Just tried a new diet/training program called “Lost At Sea”. Wouldn’t recommend it..,” he tweeted this morning.
This month, Hemsworth graced the red carpet to promote the premiere of In The Heart of The Sea in Sydney.
He revealed in a past interview that it was harder to lose weight than it was to bulk up for his Thor role.
“Yeah, it’s the second time I’ve done it, both times with Ron so maybe he’s got some obsession with me being skinny. I don’t know,” he told the online site.
“But each time you put the muscle back on, your body has that muscle memory and wants to hang on to it, so you just have be well underfed and over-trained to get it off and it’s exhausting.”
