Actor Liam Hemsworth isn’t ever jealous of his brother Chris and celebrates his success.
Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth pesters his older brother Chris for more than just acting tips – he also give him advice on women.
While Liam, 25, has been single since splitting from fiancée Miley Cyrus in 2013, 32-year-old Chris is married to Elsa Pataky and they have three children together.
As the guys are in the same industry, they often talk about film projects together and now the youngest Hemsworth has revealed he also gets dating advice from his sibling.
“Chris and I talk about everything,” he grinned to Germany’s Bravo magazine. “We also talk about women. He’s my best friend and gives me great advice. I can rely on him 100 per cent.”
Both brothers have huge fan bases, with Liam rising to fame in the Hunger Games franchise and Chris impressing in Thor and Rush. One thing the older sibling has over the younger: he was voted Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine in 2014.
“There is absolutely no rivalry between us!” Liam assured the magazine. “Not even friendly rivalry. We don’t even go for the same kinds of roles. We are always happy when the other one is successful.”
Chris will surely be cheering on Liam as he promotes Independence Day: Resurgence, due out in 2016. He was six when the first film came out in 1996 and can’t believe he’s now part of such a massive project.
“It’s unbelievable and somehow doesn’t feel real,” he marvelled. “For years I’ve been a huge fan of German director Roland Emmerich (who is behind the films) and now I’m making a movie with him – it’s a dream come true!”
Liam added he’s been having an amazing time on set so far, fully embracing the fact he’s allowed to “play with spaceships”. Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jeff Goldblum and Maika Monroe also star.
