This year, Nickelodeon’s fourth annual SLIMEFEST brought the house down with more music, more celebs and more slime. Hosted by Aussie, RAHART ADAMS, (Jax Nova on Nickelodeon’s hit tele nova U.S. series Every Witch Way), SLIMEFEST included performances by international headliner, BOYCE AVENUE, as well as home-grown acts – THE VERONICAS, SAMANTHA JADE, AT SUNSET, REECE MASTIN, TIMMY TRUMPET and New Zealand rapper,SAVAGE.
At Sunset brothers, Harrison and Andrew Kantarias and their mate, Tom Jay Williams, opened the show with the song “Us Against the World”, followed by their hit “Every Little Thing,” which got the crowd on their feet and the slime flowing. Reece Mastin followed with his smooth tunes “Keep on Walkin’” and catchy “Shut Up and Kiss me.” Samantha Jade performed to a roar from the crowd with her smash hit “What You’ve Done to Me” and latest hit “Shake That.”
Hailing from Florida, SLIMEFEST headliner, BOYCE AVENUE blew the house down with their original song “Speed Limit” and the One Direction hit, “Story of My Life.” With almost two billion views on YouTube and seven million subscribers, the three brothers are the “most viewed” independent band in the world.
Following in his hugely successful footsteps in 2014, Savage and Timmy Trumpet performed hit songs “Freaks” and “Swing” to screaming slimy kids. Re-visiting their memorable sliming in 2007 by Zac Efron at the Australian Kids’ Choice Awards, THE VERONICAS showered host, Rahart Adams with the glorious green stuff.
