The original Terminator star will walk the red carpet with Australian actor Jai Courtney at the Sydney premiere of the franchises latest installment, Terminator Genesys.
The pair will host a special early look at footage from the film at Event Cinemas on George Street on June 4.
The Terminator franchise launched in 1984 with Schwarzenegger in the lead.
Since then, there have been three more films produced.
The 67-year-old actor reprises his role as The Terminator while Jai makes his debut in the franchise as hero ‘Sargeant Kyle Reese’.
Emilia Clarke, Matt Smith and Jason Clarke wo;; also appear in Terminator Genesys.
Jai is one of our biggest stars on the rise internationally and appeared in Russell Crowe’s The Water Diviner, Angelina Jolie’s Unbroken and Divergent sequel Insurgent.
He’s also filming Suicide Squad with Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Jared Leto, Ben Affleck, Cara Delevingne and Jesse Eisenberg.
“Initially, if you can start to thread a string of work together, it is a bit more of a ‘take-what-you-can-get’ approach,” Jai has told Confidential of his roles to date.
“I think now I am shifting into more of a place where I am trying to really set up the longevity that I’m searching for.”
