Back in November of 2013, audiences flocked to the theater to see “Frozen,” and now there’s a full-length feature film sequel on its way.
During the Disney shareholders meeting on Thursday (March 12), John Lasseter announced that creators Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee will develop the project- “We enjoyed making [the short film] Frozen Fever so much and being back in that world with those characters. Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have come up with a great idea for a sequel and you will be hearing a lot more about it and we’re taking you back to Arendelle. We are so excited about that.”
So far, Josh Gad has signed on to reprise the role or Olaf, while Kristen Bell posted a photo of herself laying on a frozen bag of ice, along with the caption, “Dreams really do come 2!!! #FROZEN2 #itsofficial.”
