Dannii Minogue is set to return to the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras stage after 16 years!
The 43-year-old Australian singer-turned-fashion designer has been revealed as one of the stellar talent to entertain crowds in Sydney next month
She is excited about performing as she took to Twitter on Thursday to write: ‘Fire up your disco balls Sydney. I’m doing @sydneymardigras’.
“Dannii is one of the community’s most treasured performers and always knows how to deliver a stand out performance. We’re so excited to welcome her back to the Mardi Gras Party’.” Mardi Gras CEO, Michael Rolik said in a statement on Thursday.
Dannii last performed at the celebrations in 1999, delivering a spectacular performance as she belted out the high notes to her hit Everlasting Night.
She will be joined by a stellar lineup of performers on the night, with American singer Nick Jonas set to bring some international talent to the stage at Sydney’s Moore Park.
The 2015 Mardi Gras party will be held on Saturday March 7 at Playbill Venues and Entertainment Quarter in Sydney’s Moore Park.
