The pair just finished filming the Channel Nine hit drama today in Melbourne.
“Lincoln Lewis is like a Labrador. He’s joyous, he’s enthusiastic, he’s like a breath of fresh air on the show. I’d met him before but never worked with him. He’s a very committed actor. He’s very driven but he’s a lot of fun.” Gary tells TheFIX.
The 57-year-old reprises his role as Lewis, who is a stay-at-home dad and is experiencing marital issues with wife Gemma, played by Julia Morris.
His ex-wife comes back to stir the pot and is played by ‘Brothers and Sisters’ star Rachel Griffiths!
Lincoln is one of the brand new high-profile faces in the 13-part series.
‘The Voice’ host Darren McMullen also joins the cast as Gyton Grantley’s new love interest in the show.
“House Husbands has broken new ground in television drama, and we’re delighted to welcome it back for a third series,” Nine’s Heads of Drama, Jo Rooney and Andy Ryan, said.
It was created by Ellie Beaumont and Drew Proffitt and will air later this year.
