Chris Brown, has received devastated news as the judge in his Washington D.C assault trial has scheduled his trial back to June and denied his request to his latest bid for freedom.
The 24-year-old R&B star was charged for punching a man in the face in Washington, D.C. on October 27th 2013.
He was put into custody on April 2 to await his April 21st court date, now that it is delayed, he will return to jail in L.A.
No specific date has been set for the trial, which could be scheduled for roughly six months from now.
The delay comes after Brown’s bodyguard Christopher Hollosy opted not to testify out of fear of self-incrimination.
Chris recently experienced an emotional break down in tears to his girlfriend Karrueche Tran for the first time ever. He confessed to being scared about being sentenced to prison for four years.
If he is convicted of the misdemeanour charges, he is facing a maximum sentence of 180 days in jail and a fine of up to $1,000.
Chris is set to release a song with Ariana Grande named ‘Don’t Be Gone Too Long’ later this year depending on his release date.
